Accompaniment and voice students of all ages will sing 1-2 pieces, with potential for a mini-master class situation, FREE.

Guest Artists, Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Society
Dawn Pierce, Josh Collier and Sarah Cullins will sing 20-30 minutes sets, $20 suggested donation.

20th Century Music for Winds and Piano

Heliand Consort presents music from Paris at the dawn of the 20th century through the Roaring 20s & beyond for oboe, clarinet, bassoon, piano and voices. This concert of chamber music for piano and woodwinds by Auric, Debussy, Ibert, Poulenc, and Ravel includes some of the most creative and influential composers working in Paris during the first half of the 20th century, with  their music bubbles of energy, flights of fancy, moments of nostalgia, and impassioned romance.

A Side By  Side Concert

Three terrific, flexible artists—Mary Rowell, violin; Emily Taubl, cello; and Cynthia Huard, piano—collaborate with Middlebury College students in a program of chamber music. Composers include Maurice Ravel, Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Matthew Taylor, Professor Peter Hamlin ’73, Australian composer Padma Newsome, Jorge Martín, and Franz Schubert. Free.
